Hunstanton Town Councillors are committed to work for the Town, its residents and businesses. As a Town Council it has no powers and relies on a good working relationship with King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council and Norfolk County Council to inform, exchange views and lobby to improve our Town and environment.
All Councillors are approachable and are willing to listen to your concerns and suggestions Not everyone is aware that our two monthly meetings are open to the public and we have now scheduled the last ten minutes of each full Council meeting to allow members of the public to address us and air their views.
Why not come and meet us face to face?
The present Council has been in office for 18 months and we can claim some successes with the near completion of the Town Hall basement for the youth, the start of the Community Orchard and participation in Anglia in Bloom this summer. The greatest achievement is Hunstanton being awarded the Best Community 2011.
Our monthly full Council meetings are attended by our Borough Councillors who strongly supports our efforts and is a valuable link between our two Councils.
A police representative also attends and we are able to exchange views and concerns on policing, law and order.
This Web site is aimed at keeping you up to date and every effort will be made to do this.
Hunstanton Town Council consists of 17 Councillors. They vary from being in office for many years to just a few months.
